The judges have spoken! The “Doritos Crash The Superbowl” finalists have been announced. Unfortunately, Cheesy, the entry I c0-directed, did not make the cut. Nevertheless, I am extremely proud of it, and I had a blast collaborating with my talented friends from El Autobus Inc to bring it to life.
Out of more than 4,000 entries these were the selections:
“Underdog” AKA “Animal Cruelty” By jwsvoboda.
“The Smackout” By bhayword.
“Casket” AKA “The Casket” By ms.
“Snack Attack Samurai” By CBer.
“House Rules” By Dejesus_77.
“Kids These Days” By Blackmariastudios.
My personal favorites of the ones selected are, in order: “Kids These Days”, “Underdog”, “Snack Attack Samurai”, and “Casket”.
Without getting into controversy, I have to say I’m a little surprised by the judges decisions. There are quite a few entries of very high quality, both in content and execution, that were snubbed. Two notable examples are “Dave” By doritodave and “Doritos Please” By Senor Queso.
Out of the selected six, three will represent Doritos during the Superbowl, where they will be competing for bigger cash prizes. This time it will be the public who decides who goes on. You can cast your vote here.
